Day 20: A Slow Day Between Bryce and Zion

 Saturday, June 1

We finally got caught up in our sleep and were not underway until 9:30 today. Jessica paid $8 for a good shower at a nearby campground. I washed at the sink in the van. We left Bryce Canyon on Rt 12W and stopped for a fun little interpretative trail at the Red Canyon visitor center in the Dixie National Forest.

Then we headed down 89S to the Belly of the Dragon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park (where we flew and crashed and miraculously found the drone in the sagebrush), and the Moqui Sand Caves (misleading trail and challenging rock scramble).

Then we headed west on Rt 9 to our boondocking site off Poverty Road just a few miles outside the east entrance to Zion National Park.
