So after spending the night in my van at my high school friend's house, I got up early and went to church at Parker Bible Church. Then they had a family reunion brunch at their home. In the afternoon, after their other guests left, we went to Red Rocks Amphitheater south of Denver CO. Then we went to Buffalo Bill's tomb on the top of Lookout Mountain, which had incredible views of Denver in the distance and Coors Brewery and the Colorado School of Mines in Golden CO in the foreground. On the way home, I saw my first bison on the trip. After dinner at their house, we played pool in the basement. I took my last hot shower of the trip and will leave early tomorrow for the rest of the month on my own in the van. Missing my wife who ran the Philadelphia sprint triathlon today and all the rest of my family back East. Being away from home so long sure does make you realize how much you depend on others for emotional support.
