I had a good night's sleep on a real bed, a nice hot shower, and pie for breakfast. What more could you ask for? I spent the day at my friend Nicole's house in Omaha, NE, doing yoga (my first time), lunch at M's Pub, visiting the Joslyn Museum with our own personal tour guide, and grabbing ice cream at The Coneflower.
Bonus points if you can name the artist in all four of the above pieces. Comment below if you know.
Neither Nicole or I, both of whom are avid art lovers, could appreciate this piece of modern art below. To me, art has to have meaning. So we took a selfie with this one to make it more meaningful. Then we went to Coneflowers to get ice cream. I had three dips: Baklava chunk, basil and white chocolate (don't knock it til you try it!), and cherry crumble (which was to die for).
In the evening, it cooled off and we went to see the all-female production of All's Well That Ends Well of Shakespeare on the Green. It was a full day that ended well. And it certainly wasn't boring!
